Users can experience Marriott Bonvoy Land by using the game code 7652-9467-4215 to portal into the park square via Fortnite Creative.

At the intersection of travel and gaming, players begin by socialising and exploring before “checking-in” to the different hotels. The virtual concierge greets guests with two options, to check out their guest room or unlock the hotel’s minigame.

To celebrate the launch, a surprise celebrity guest will drop in on Twitch streamer Sommerset’s livestream on 2 November 2023 to play Marriott Bonvoy Land and give away stays to gamers.

Marriott International senior vice-president and global head of marketing and brand Brian Povinelli commented: “We’re gamifying the magic of our brands so that the next generation of travellers can interact with and experience our portfolio of hotels and offerings, no matter where they are.”

Fortnite is a player-versus-environment co-operative game developed by technology company Epic Games. Marriott is reportedly the first hospitality company to launch on the platform, but the project is an independently created Fortnite experience and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Epic Games.

Marriott Bonvoy also recently signed a multi-year deal with entertainment group Live Nation Canada to be its official hotel partner.
