US-based Minute Suites has announced its plans open its ninth locations in the country, at John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4.

Customers at the Terminal 4 with layovers before or after international flights will be able to have access to a private retreat inside security to relax.

Claimed to be a wellness-based solution to the stress caused due to air travel, Minute Suites will open seven suites and one shower in T4.

This will make it easier for over 21 million customers passing through the terminal annually to overcome the stress of traveling for hours.

Minute Suites co-founder and director Daniel Solomon said: “We are fortunate and humbled to be finally landing in the New York metro area at the busiest international terminal in North America.

“Our team looks forward to working with JFKIAT to enhance the airport experience with our Traveler’s Retreat.”

Slated to open in 2020, this new facility at T4’s B Concourse will have a futuristic storefront along with amenities available at other Minute Suites locations.

Minute Suites provides private suites inside security at airports. It  has locations in Dallas, Philadelphia and Atlanta besides Charlotte.

Currently, a location at Baltimore Washington International Airport is under construction.

Customers can book suites with a one hour minimum followed by 15-minute increments.
