Hyatt Hotels has expanded its portfolio with the opening of a new lifestyle hotel in Silicon Valley, California, US.

Named Hyatt Centric Mountain View, the new 167-room hotel is the brand’s first property in Silicon Valley and the fourth in the US state.

Hyatt Centric Mountain View general manager Rich Higdon said: “We are pleased to bring the in-the-now spirit of the Hyatt Centric brand to Silicon Valley.

“The hotel is designed as a launchpad that encourages visitors to explore and experience the unique aspects of our dynamic city.”

The guestrooms are equipped with custom open closets, HD Smart TVs, and Drybar Buttercup blow-dryers.

The hotel has a fitness centre that is equipped with LifeFitness machines, round-the-clock business centre and a second-level terrace featuring a heated pool and firepit.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar Fairchilds Public House serves local cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with regional breweries and wineries.

Hyatt Centric Mountain View has been developed by OTO and project partners including architect CallisonRTKL, interior designer Studio HBA and general contractor Lusardi Construction. The property is operated by OTO.
