Best Western International, operator of the Best Western hotel brand, has taken over the management of a riverside hotel in Cambodia’s Phnom Penh.

The hotel is situated on the banks of the Tonle Sap River, and caters to both business and leisure travellers.

Best Western International Asia and Middle East international operations vice president Glenn de Souza said: "Our expansion in the ASEAN region continues at pace, and I am delighted to be able to welcome guests to yet another thriving regional capital, Phnom Penh.

"This exciting city is fast becoming a regional hub for business and leisure travel, and the position of the Best Western River Palace Hotel means we are now at the very heart of Phnom Penh’s growth."
