"That pioneering spirit lives on as our brand nears its 100th anniversary."

The hotel claimed to have the largest conference hotel near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, with 23 meeting spaces in total, and a ballroom capable of holding 640 delegates.

The hotel was designed by renowned Dutch architects Mecanoo, and its interiors have been designed by the British company The Gallery HBA.

The public spaces and guestrooms are inspired by Dutch architecture, while Spanish artist Israel Páez has created art installations for the hotel.

Hilton Worldwide global full service brands head Rob Palleschi said: "The airport hotel concept was born in 1959, with the opening of Hilton San Francisco Airport.

"Innovation is in our blood, from being the first hospitality company to install televisions in guest rooms, to introducing digital check-in with room selection via the Hilton HHonors app, and that pioneering spirit lives on as our brand nears its 100th anniversary."

The hotel provides Hilton’s global spa concept, eforea spa, to its guests, along with a 24hr fitness centre.

It is situated next to the site of the original Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, which closed last month, and is the latest property to join Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio of six hotels in Amsterdam.

Hilton Worldwide owns more than 38 properties at European airport locations.
