A $50m renovation programme has begun at the 125-year-old Concorde Paris Opera, located in 8th Arrondissement, Paris, France.
The hotel will be rebranded this September as the Hilton Paris Opera, with the renovation expected to be complete by March 2015.
After the renovation, the hotel will feature 268 rooms covering five floors. This will include 164 deluxe rooms, 56 executive rooms, 29 suites and 18 guest rooms.
Corinthian colonnades, frescoes and original balustrades will adorn the entrance hall. The hotel will also feature a new bar inspired by French fashion icon Christian Lacroix.
The hotel will offer seven meeting rooms for events and celebrations, totalling 5,435ft². This will include a 1,937ft² Baccarat Reception Room that will be suitable for both social and corporate functions.
Originally opened as the Grand Hotel Terminus in 1889, the Concorde was acquired by Blackstone Group, Hilton Wolrdwide’s majority shareholder, last year.
