Westin Hotels & Resorts, a Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide brand, is planning to open a new hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US.
The proposed Westin Milwaukee, owned by Jackson Street Holdings and managed by White Lodging, will have 220 guestrooms and suites and feature easy access to Lake Michigan.
Located on the US Bank campus, the hotel project will be financed by BMO Harris and Anchor Bank.
Westin Hotels & Resorts North America brand management vice president Bob Jacobs said: “The Westin Milwaukee is a highly anticipated addition to our growing portfolio and is poised to energize the lodging market at the heart of this city’s vibrant downtown.
Westin Milwaukee will have 9,000ft² of meeting facilities, a restaurant and lobby bar, and a fitness centre.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts North America development senior vice-president Allison Reid said: “The Westin Milwaukee will mark an important debut for Westin, paving the way for the further development of Starwood’s lifestyle brands in this key mid-western market.
