Radisson Hotel Group has opened Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Center, Niamey, which is claimed to be the first and only five-star international brand hotel in Niger.

The hotel, which has 189 rooms and suites,  eight meeting rooms and a dedicated conference center, is located close to the Parliament and Presidential Palace.

The 1,150m2 conference centre in the hotel is claimed to be the first and the largest of its kind in the city. The hotel’s eight meeting rooms are all capable of holding 2,500 guests.

The hotel has been built in a span of eleven months by Summa Construction Group.

It has 870m2 of Lotus Spa Health and Beauty Center. It also features on- site Al Mina restaurant, the New York Restaurant and Bar and a pool terrace

Zaxi Rooftop Lounge & Bar offers views of the Niger River.

The room types range from presidential and royal suites  to standard rooms, junior and executive suites.
