US-based hospitality owner-operators and management company Shaner Hotels has purchased Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Hershey in Pennsylvania.
Shaner will also manage the hotel and expects to invest $1.2m to renovate the guest rooms entirely.
Shaner Hotels president Plato Ghinos said: “Alongside our sister hotels, the Courtyard Hershey Chocolate Avenue and the Fairfield Inn Harrisburg International Airport, the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Hershey further establishes our presence in the Hershey/Harrisburg marketplace.
“The Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton benefits from its prime location directly across the street from Hersheypark, making it the closest Hilton-branded product in the area to the family amusement park.”
The property features 86 keys and is equipped with modern amenities. The hotel offers a complimentary full breakfast, a 24-hour sweet shop, complimentary Wi-Fi, a fitness centre and a heated indoor pool. Microwaves and refrigerators are available in all guest rooms and suites.
Located at 195 Hershey Road, it is just minutes from Hersheypark, Hershey Gardens, Giant Centre, Zoo America, Penn State Hershey Medical Centre and the AACA Museum.
