By GlobalData“The signing of Spark by Hilton Ponce, in collaboration with our esteemed partners at Ponce Resorts and HI Development, marks a pivotal step in the brand’s expansion. This milestone not only sets the stage for future brand debuts across the region, but also reinforces Hilton’s continued growth and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of today’s business and leisure travellers.”
The addition of Ponce property to Hilton’s portfolio will bolster the company’s presence in Puerto Rico, where it currently operates over ten hotels.
To double its footprint on the island within the next four years, Hilton continues to grow its Caribbean portfolio, which includes around 50 hotels and 40 properties under development.
The Spark by Hilton brand has experienced rapid expansion, with more than 160 hotels opened in less than a year since its inaugural property.
With over 190 hotels in the pipeline and numerous conversions in progress, the Ponce property is claimed to mark a milestone in the brand’s growth.
In March 2024, Hilton expanded its presence in Puerto Rico with the integration of the Palacio Provincial Hotel into its Curio Collection.
