China’s Wanda Hotels & Resorts has achieved a key milestone in the group’s offshore management with the opening a new hotel in Turkey.

Named as Wanda Vista Istanbul, it is the group’s first internationally managed hotel. It was jointly developed and built along with Mar Yapi Turizm.

The hotel project was officially signed in 2017.

Philippe Starck has designed the hotel and Wanda Hotel Design Institute oversaw the interior design and operation management.

Featuring a unique triangular column tower structure, Wanda Vista Istanbul offers 127 luxury guestrooms and 320 fully equipped service apartments.

Spread across an area of 2,600m2, the hotel’s spa and fitness facilities include a fitness centre that is completely equipped with necessary equipment, a yoga room, a spa centre with a Turkish bath, an outdoor pool, and a heated indoor pool.

Wanda Vista Istanbul also boasts four restaurants and bars that cater cuisines from Turkey, China and across the globe.

The hotel’s 320 luxury apartments offer well-equipped kitchens and high-speed internet covering the entire property.

In addition, the property has a 450m2 grand ballroom and a worship hall, as well as three function rooms to meet the requirement of different banquet guests.

Wanda Vista Istanbul is strategically located in Bagcilar district of Istanbul and provides guests with convenient access to tourist destinations including the Bosphorus Strait, Hagia Sophia, and Blue Mosque.

The property is situated 35km from the Istanbul Airport.
