New Zealand-based hospitality technology business STAAH has streamlined the management of online bookings and room inventory for the Amer Group of Hotels in Bhopal, India.

The collaboration between STAAH and Amer Group has led to the integration of the former's Channel Manager across the Amer Group's properties, including the Amer Greens and Hotel Amer Palace, known for their three to four-star hospitality offerings in Madhya Pradesh, India.

STAAH's Channel Manager has automated the distribution of rates and inventory across online travel agents (OTAs) and metasearch platforms for the Amer Group, offering real-time updates and consistency.

The technology has resolved issues with inventory discrepancies and reduced the reliance on manual oversight of online distribution channels, said STAAH.

STAAH India national sales head Shoaib Ali said: “STAAH’s range of solutions is designed to serve every kind of hotel, homestay, resort and budget establishment. In just five months, we’ve seen a turnaround in their online bookings and inventory with our systems in place.

“The enhanced guest booking experience has also led to higher consumer engagement across all their online platforms.”

The integration allows for seamless connectivity between the STAAH Channel Manager and the hotel's property management system (PMS), which means reservations flow directly into the PMS.

This lessens errors, the need for manual intervention, and allows for seamless management of front desk operations, billing, housekeeping, and reporting, stated STAAH.

Earlier this year, STAAH entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sayaji Hotels to optimise online bookings and streamline operations through STAAH’s advanced technology solutions.
