Avani Hotels & Resorts has opened Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel in Vientiane, Laos. The 197-key property is located on Fa Ngum Road and overlooks Chao Anouvong Park and the Mekong River.

The hotel is positioned for business travel, short breaks and riverside stays in the Lao capital.

The opening marks Avani’s second property in Laos, following Avani+ Luang Prabang.

According to a statement, Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel brings together guestrooms, social areas, dining, wellness facilities, and meetings and events venues aimed at local and international guests.

Accommodation ranges from Deluxe Rooms to a Presidential Suite. The hotel is opening in phases, with a selection of rooms and facilities available at launch. Additional venues and services are expected to be introduced in the coming months.

The hotel’s food and beverage offering will be rolled out across four venues.

Mekong Mosaic, now open, is an all-day dining restaurant. It will serve international comfort cuisine and Lao-inspired dishes, with live cooking stations, wellness-focused options, and formats including in-room and poolside dining.

Sabaidee Social is scheduled to open in Q3 2026 with a Mediterranean-inspired tapas and bar concept, including casual dining, drinks and live entertainment.

The Pantry will operate as a café and co-working space, while Salongxay is scheduled to open in fourth quarter of the year and will focus on Thai-Lao dining.

During the first stage of the opening, guests can access the outdoor swimming pool and fitness facilities. AvaniSpa and expanded wellness experiences will be added as the property moves toward its full launch.

For meetings and events, the hotel includes Lanexang Hall, which can accommodate up to 320 guests, supported by additional meeting rooms and outdoor event spaces.

Avani Hotels & Resorts, launched in 2011, operates more than 40 properties. The Minor Hotels-brand opened the Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in Australia in May.
