Budget hotel chain B&B Hotels has expanded its European footprint by opening the first hotel in Luxembourg, located in the Cloche d'Or district.

This marks the company's entry into its 18th country.

Developed by promoters Promobe and Nextensa, B&B Hotel Luxembourg Centre Cloche d'Or was designed by Moreno Architecture & Associés.

It aligns with sustainability goals and aims for a BREEAM Excellent certification.

The hotel offers 150 rooms and amenities such as a private terrace, lounge area and meeting room.

B&B Hotel Luxembourg Centre Cloche d'Or is positioned to cater to Luxembourg's increasing visitor numbers, offering a convenient stay near the downtown core for both business and leisure travellers.

Its location provides easy accessibility with a nearby tram stop and convenient car access.

The hotel building has 40% green roofing, enhancing environmental performance.

The opening of B&B Hotel Luxembourg Centre Cloche d'Or supports B&B Hotels' expansion in European capitals, HospitalityNet reported.

Its competitive pricing, zero-waste design, and strong public transport links are said to make it an attractive option for both short and extended stays.

B&B Hotels’ plans to convert vacant offices into a hotel with 93 rooms in Unterschleissheim, north of Munich in Germany, highlight its focus on business markets.

Combined with a recent opening in Réunion, this strategy underscores its commitment to high-traffic and secondary locations, bolstering its position in the midscale hotel segment.

Last year, B&B Hotels partnered with Arora Group for its first UK property. The company signed an agreement for a long-term lease for the Arora Park Hotel.
