Embassy Suites by Hilton brand has opened a new eight-storey, all-suite hotel on the Alabama Gulf Coast in the US.

The full-service resort-style property has been developed by investment management firm Peachtree Group, Woodbine Development, and DD Partners.

Situated at 112 West Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores, the hotel features 257 guestrooms and offers a range of amenities. It will be managed by the Peachtree Group's hospitality division.

Peachtree Group managing principal and CEO Greg Friedman said: "With its irreplaceable beachfront location, resort-style amenities and vibrant gathering spaces, Embassy Suites Gulf Shores Beach Resort is designed to be a centrepiece for visitors and the community alike.

 “It’s special to come full circle and have a hand in creating a place where more people can enjoy this incredible destination and where locals can benefit from the new restaurants, amenities and gathering spaces.”

The hotel provides various dining options, including The Cove Bar, Tide & Table restaurant and an indoor-outdoor bar, as well as live entertainment and resort-style amenities.

Sound Wave, the hotel's signature open-air space, provides guests with live music every day.

The property has 13,620ft² of enclosed meeting and pre-function space, including a 7,800ft² ballroom for conferences, weddings and special events.

Additional facilities include a three-story parking garage and more than 7,600ft² of retail space, which encompasses a Starbucks.

Last year, Peachtree Group broadened its portfolio by acquiring the Home2 Suites by Hilton St Augustine I-95 in Jacksonville, Florida, US.
