Accor’s luxury hotel brand Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has launched its first property in Vietnam with the opening of Fairmont Hanoi.

The hotel is located in the Old Quarter, close to Hoàn Kiếm Lake and features 241 guest rooms, including 38 Fairmont Gold rooms and 12 suites.

Facilities include eight dining venues and bars, a fitness and wellness centre measuring 38,000ft², and the largest pillarless ballroom in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

The hotel’s design was led by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, incorporating elements of Vietnamese heritage alongside modern architecture.

Several of the restaurants are already open to guests while others will be introduced in the coming months.

The wellness facility at Fairmont Hanoi includes a spa with hydrotherapy and thermal features, plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms, and ten private treatment rooms.

The property also houses an event centre that spans more than 4,000m². Its main ballroom covers 12,000ft² without columns and is accompanied by additional ballrooms and meeting spaces with natural lighting.

Fairmont Hanoi general manager Jean-François Brun said: “We are delighted to indulge our guests in Fairmont's distinguished hospitality and its premier presence in Hanoi.

“Fairmont Hanoi joins some of the most storied addresses in the world, and we are excited to showcase how we've blended our brand's century-long heritage with the distinctive culture, character, and daily rhythm of Hanoi unfolding around us.”

Fairmont Hanoi provides views of both the city skyline and its inner gardens from its guest rooms and suites.

The hotel aims to attract business events through its meetings and events centre, as well as leisure guests seeking hospitality options in central Hanoi.

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts CEO Omer Acar said: “It is with immense pleasure that we welcome guests to Fairmont Hanoi, marking our inaugural property in Vietnam and unveiling a distinctive new destination for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.”

In July 2025, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts teamed up with Keystone Resorts to unveil the new Fairmont Udaipur Palace. The resort features 327 rooms and suites, as well as a spa, salon and gym.
