Four Seasons has opened a new beachfront retreat in Mykonos, Greece, above the Kalo Livadi Bay.

Designed by architect Nicos Valsamakis, Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos occupies a 6ha cliffside site, laid out in the style of a traditional Mykonian village.

The property comprises 94 guest rooms, suites and villas equipped with plunge pools.

Guests will have access to a private beach, event venues, as well as several dining venues offering sea views and a range of island-focused experiences.

The hotel also offers a 24-hour fitness centre and a spa with seven treatment rooms, an outdoor spa pavilion and a thermal circuit featuring a sauna, steam room and vitality pool.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts global operations president Rainer Stampfer said: “As we welcome a second Four Seasons to Greece, joining our Athens hotel, we introduce a new expression of luxury on one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic islands.

“In partnership with AGC Equity Partners, we’ve created an experience that preserves the surrounding environment through thoughtful design and combines the warmth of Greek hospitality with the personalised service that defines Four Seasons.”

Four Seasons has also flagged a future project in Porto Heli, located in Hinitsa Bay.
