The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico has resumed operations after completing a major enhancement and refurbishment project.

The property now provides upgraded guest rooms, new dining options, and expanded leisure facilities.

Set on a stretch of coastline bordered by three nature reserves, the resort is located approximately 30 minutes from San Juan’s airport within a private 483 acre reserve with access to more than 11km of trails.

Guests can take part in conservation and sustainability efforts through educational activities, a resident animal sanctuary, and a pet shelter.

The resort features ten dining venues, including a lobby lounge with live music, Mediterranean-inspired menus, open-air restaurants, relaxed bars, and options for beachfront or private dining.

In addition to culinary experiences, guests may join food and walking tours in Old San Juan to discover the island’s history and local businesses.

Facilities at the resort include an 18-hole golf course certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary, an expanded racquet centre, as well as water sports such as windsurfing, and kitesurfing.

The property provides two fully equipped fitness centres and a spa with ten treatment rooms, saunas and plunge pools.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Puerto Rico general manager Pablo Molinari said: “Our goal is to create something that goes beyond a typical luxury resort to an experience that truly reflects the spirit of Puerto Rico:  it's warmth, stories, flavours, history and culture.

“Our hope is for guests to enjoy every moment on this beautiful island, and to leave with wonderful memories of its people and places.”

In addition, the resort offers families with beach access, a family pool with splash zones, connecting room options, children's menus with free meals for guests under five years old, and babysitting services.

The resort also includes accommodation options such as villa and residential rentals equipped with kitchens, private terraces or pools, and dedicated Residence Hosts to assist with requests such as booking leisure activities or arranging in-room dining or spa treatments.

Four Seasons Global Operations, Hotels and Resorts president Rainer Stampfer said: “In Puerto Rico, we’ve truly found an exceptional setting – surrounded by vast natural beauty and conveniently located for travellers eager to explore the best of the island with Four Seasons.

“Together with our visionary owner-partners at Paulson Puerto Rico, we are proud to present the newest jewel in our collection of Four Seasons resorts across the Caribbean and where our signature service and unparalleled experiences will define every stay.”

In August 2025, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai reopened its renovated one-bedroom and family villas, offering updated accommodation on Vietnam’s central coast.
