Hyatt Hotels has announced the reopening of the Grand Hyatt Singapore hotel, following the completion of an extensive multi-year renovation programme.

The renovated hotel now provides “completely reimagined” 699 rooms and suites and features “two distinctive wings”.

Designed by Japan-based company Strickland, the Grand Wing offers 407 rooms and suites with an “open-concept layout”, sofa areas and Patagonia stone bathrooms.

The Terrace Wing has been designed in partnership with UK-based Grant Associates. It provides a calm resort ambience with tropical greenery, koi ponds and waterfalls, as well as 292 guest rooms.

The hotel also includes three presidential suites designed for private gatherings that feature living and dining areas, curated art, a private kitchen and more.

Grand Hyatt Singapore general manager Edouard Demptos said: “As one of Singapore’s original international hotels, Grand Hyatt Singapore has always been a place to stay and celebrate. It’s also a place to belong.

“For over five decades, we have delivered signature service with our trusted team of colleagues. This grand reintroduction reflects our continued commitment to premium offerings, modern relevance, and heartfelt hospitality that endures, creating lasting memories for all who visit.”

The Grand Hyatt Singapore features seven dining venues, including Le Pristine Singapore, Straits Kitchen, Pete's Place and Oasis.

The hotel incorporates sustainable practices with a contactless WasteMaster system, efficient dishwashers, and an in-house water bottling facility.

In addition, it operates entirely on renewable electricity and features a closed-loop aquaponics system, carbon tracking for dishes, and zero-waste cooking methods.

The transformation also includes a wellness centre that combines modern techniques with traditional practices. It is also the first HYROX training club in Southeast Asia.

The relocated Grand Club lounge is reserved for club and suite guests. It offers breakfast, refreshments, evening cocktails and concierge services.

Earlier this year, Grand Hyatt Washington announced the completion of a renovation involving its 902 guest rooms, 31 suites and the Grand Club lounge.
