Hotel101 Global Holdings has reached a key construction milestone in the development of its hotel in Hirafu, Japan, with the structural topping off.

The company said that the 482-room property remains on schedule for an expected opening in December 2026, aligning with the start of the 2026–2027 winter season.

The topping-off ceremony marks the completion of major structural works at Hotel101-Niseko.

Developers will now begin interior finishing to meet the planned operational timeline.

Upon completion, the property is projected to become one of the largest hotels by room count in Hirafu.

Niseko continues to attract visitors from more than 30 countries each year and remains one of Asia’s most prominent alpine destinations.

The addition of Hotel101-Niseko is expected to add significant capacity ahead of future winter seasons.

The hotel will operate under Hotel101 Global’s standardised “condotel” model, which combines aspects of condominium and hotel services.

Each of its rooms will share identical layouts designed to accommodate a range of guest profiles including families, couples, and groups visiting for Niseko’s ski season.

Planned amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, meeting facilities, a business centre, an indoor swimming pool, hot mineral onsen baths, sauna and wellness services, and a 24-hour front desk with concierge support.

Additional features will comprise ski lockers with ski-in/ski-out access, an on-site convenience store, and complimentary shuttle service to nearby ski lifts.

Hotel101 Global Holdings is a property technology hospitality company listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange and a subsidiary of Philippine-based DoubleDragon.

Hotel101 Global recently announced plans to build a 429-room hotel in San Donato Milanese, Milan, Italy.

The proposed 1.4ha development is intended to accommodate business and leisure travellers visiting Milan’s commercial areas and cultural sites.

Additionally, Hotel101 Global is developing projects in Madrid, Spain, and Los Angeles, US, as well as operates other affiliate hotels in the Philippines.
