A West Cumbrian hospitality group, Osprey Management Group, has recently purchased the Hunday Manor Hotel, a popular hotel and restaurant located near Workington, England.

The country house hotel, set in four acres of picturesque grounds with stunning views, has 27 bedrooms, a 70-seat restaurant, a cocktail bar, and conference and banqueting rooms accommodating up to 250 guests.

Expansion plans and excitement for new opportunities

Craig Lowery, managing director of Osprey Management Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating that Hunday Manor Hotel is an excellent addition to their portfolio of establishments, which includes the Galloping Horse in High Harrington and the Peddler in Whitehaven.

Situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park and close to their other establishments, the group is thrilled to welcome guests to Hunday Manor and host events including weddings and special occasions.

Lowery emphasised Osprey Management Group's commitment to creating job opportunities for local residents and engaging with suppliers in the area to offer outstanding produce.

The group plans to initiate exciting refurbishments for the hotel, with further details to be shared in the near future.

Lowery extended his gratitude to the previous owner, Mr Wilson, and his family for their efforts in finalising the sale. He wished them all the best for their future endeavours.
