Global hospitality company Hyatt Hotels' The Unbound Collection brand is set to expand into Thailand with the debut of The Barai property in Hua Hin and Narai Hotel in Bangkok.

The company’s affiliate has signed management agreements with Chai Talay Hotel for the two hotels.

These properties add to Hyatt's portfolio of 15 properties in Thailand across seven brands.

Hyatt Asia Pacific group president David Udell said: “We are proud to announce these plans to introduce The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand with two distinctive properties in Hua Hin and Bangkok.

“This marks an exciting chapter in our brand growth in the country and the Asia Pacific region. It underscores our commitment to delivering unique luxury experiences that today's travellers increasingly seek.”

The Barai Hua Hin, adjacent to the beachfront Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, is designed by Thai architect Lek Bunnag. It will open in late 2026.

The resort will feature 18 treatment rooms, eight residential spa suites, 90 rooms and suites, a central pool oasis, gardens and two restaurants, McFarland House and The White House.

The Narai Hotel in Silom, Bangkok, will reopen in 2028.  

Designed by Heatherwick Studio, the 250-room property aims to provide dining, retail, and community spaces.  

Narai Hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, fitness facilities, a rooftop restaurant, a lounge, a pool and event spaces. The property offers easy access to Chong Nonsi BTS station and nearby attractions. 

Hyatt Hotels has a portfolio of more than 1,450 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 80 countries as of 30 June 2025.  

Earlier this month, the company revealed plans to open a new property under the Unbound Collection brand in Shanghai, China.
