amã Stays & Trails, a homestay initiative by Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has launched its 150th bungalow, Anand Bhawan Palace, in Tirwa, Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh.
Originally constructed in 1929, the property now features six suites and marks the brand's first entry into the state.
According to IHCL, the estate offers a variety of activities for guests, including farm-to-table dining experiences that highlight regional and Nepalese cuisines.
IHCL said that Anand Bhawan Palace provides expansive verandas and elegant galleries that overlook large gardens.
The interiors are designed to maintain heritage charm while incorporating modern comforts. This venue is designed to serve as a location for celebrations, retreats, and immersive getaways.
IHCL's new businesses and hotel openings executive vice-president Deepika Rao said: “Driven by the rising demand for private stays and immersive travel experiences, amã Stays & Trails continues to grow at an accelerated pace.
“This opening marks the brand’s foray into Uttar Pradesh with its 150th bungalow in Kannauj, enriching our portfolio of authentic, heritage-infused stays that cater to the evolving preferences of today’s discerning traveller.”
amã Stays & Trails is part of a larger network of homestays across India, with properties in various regions. These include Goa, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
Currently, amã Stays & Trails’ portfolio comprises 311 bungalows with an additional 161 under development.
In recent developments, IHCL has also announced the expansion of its SeleQtions brand through the signing of a new hotel in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
