Lake Lodge, a family-owned apartment hotel in Åre, Sweden, has entered a partnership with wellness company Gympak to enhance the guest experience with year-round wellness options.

Åre is known for its skiing, hiking trails across mountain peaks, and summer cycling.

Lake Lodge owner Lars Hedström said: “We want to give our guests more than just a bed to sleep in. We want to help them feel good, even when they’re on the move.

“With Gympak, our guests have a concrete way to keep up their routines, whether they’re here for a ski weekend in March or a hiking week in July.”

The partnership with Gympak allows guests to maintain their wellness routines.

The hotel now provides Gympak's wellness bags, featuring sustainable activewear and workout equipment such as yoga mats and resistance bands.

These resources are designed to facilitate exercise in the comfort of a hotel room or the outdoors, making wellness an accessible aspect.

Gympak CEO Jone Sølvik said: “We’re thrilled about the partnership with Lake Lodge. This is a hotel that understands wellness doesn’t take a break just because you’re away from home.

Lake Lodge's strategic location provides guests with convenient access to ski lifts, restaurants, shops, and the surrounding mountain nature.

This initiative follows Gympak’s recent collaboration with Sweden-based Köpmans Boutique Hotel, which will introduce fitness equipment and clothing rentals to its guests under this partnership.

In addition, Norwegian hotel group De Historiske signed an agreement last month with Gympak to offer modern wellness experiences across its portfolio of more than 95 hotels and restaurants in Norway.
