Indian hotel chain Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a new Lemon Tree Suites property in Nashik, Maharashtra, which is to be managed by its wholly owned subsidiary Carnation Hotels.

The upcoming property will offer 135 suites, complemented by a restaurant, lounge, banquet, and meeting room. It will also feature swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, and other public areas.

Located 27km from Nashik International Airport and 12km from Nashik Railway Station, the hotel is strategically positioned for accessibility by both public and private transport.

Nashik is revered as a holy city on the banks of the River Godavari and a destination for religious tourism, hosting the Kumbh Mela.

It is also recognised as the 'Wine Capital of India', with more than half of the country's vineyards and wineries situated in the region, contributing substantially to India's economy.

Lemon Tree Hotels managed and franchise business CEO Vilas Pawar said: "We are delighted to expand our footprint in Maharashtra. The launch of this new property not only reinforces our presence in Maharashtra, where we already operate 14 hotels and have six more in the pipeline, but also aligns with our broader strategy for sustained growth across key markets."

Lemon Tree Hotels, known for its diverse portfolio across various segments, owns, leases, operates, and franchises hotels under seven distinct brands, including Aurika Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Hotels and Red Fox Hotels.

The company's presence in the hospitality sector is further solidified by its recent signing of Lemon Tree Hotel, Pune, Maharashtra, last September.
