Lemon Tree Hotels has opened a Keys Prima hotel on Kempty Road in Mussoorie, India, adding a second operating property for the group in the town.

With this launch, the company’s operating count in Uttarakhand has reached ten hotels with a further 11 properties under development in the state.

The hotel is operated by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned unit of Lemon Tree Hotels.

It has 47 rooms and suites in Superior, Deluxe, Executive and Studio Suite formats. On-site facilities include a bar, café, fitness centre, spa, and a swimming pool.

Its event space, Grand Chamber, is intended for conferences, meetings and private functions.

Lemon Tree Hotels president Vishvapreet Singh Cheema said: “Uttarakhand continues to be one of the most prominent tourism markets in the country, with sustained demand across leisure, pilgrimage and MICE [meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions] travel through the year.

Last month, Lemon Tree Hotels opened Lemon Tree Hotel, Sri Ganganagar, its first property in the city.

That addition took its Rajasthan network to 23 hotels. The Sri Ganganagar hotel has 68 rooms and suites, along with indoor and lawn spaces for meetings and social gatherings.
