Extended-stay hotel brand LivAway Suites, in partnership with real estate investment company West77 Partners, has initiated its expansion with the ground-breaking of its first Texas location in San Marcos.

This move is part of LivAway Suites' broader national expansion strategy and signifies its growing presence in the southern US market.

LivAway Suites chief operating officer Kevin Dailey said: "Bringing our business to the Lone Star State is a great accomplishment for us and West77 Partners.

"With locations in Utah, Montana, Tennessee, Washington, and beyond, this expansion into Texas is a pivotal step in our growth as we continue to broaden our reach and deliver exceptional extended-stay experiences nationwide."

The new hotel is expected to cater to a diverse clientele, including travellers, business professionals, and families.

Its strategic location provides convenient access to corporate entities, including the Amazon Fulfilment Centre, the H-E-B Distribution Centre, and aerospace manufacturer CFAN. It also serves as an accommodation option for visitors to Texas State University.

Proximity to healthcare facilities such as the 178-bed Central Texas Medical Center and the 387-bed Christus Santa Rosa positions the hotel as a choice for medical professionals and those visiting patients.

West77 Partners president Dan Barrett said: "Expanding into Texas opens doors for us to continue our growth throughout the south and other regions of the United States.

"Innovation is at the core of what we do. We are proud to bring a product to Texas that is candidly unrivalled in its fit and finish and guest offering. Texas expects the best, and LivAway Suites offers just that."

Looking ahead, LivAway Suites plans to begin construction on three additional sites in Phoenix by the end of this year.

The brand anticipates breaking ground on 17 more locations next year to have 50 properties either operational or under development by late 2026.
