Hospitality data platform Otelier has upgraded its flagship business intelligence platform, IntelliSight, using scalable and modern architecture.

This advancement aims to centralise and streamline data connectivity, offering hotel owners and operators a comprehensive view of their financial performance and operational efficiency.

Leveraging Snowflake's cloud data warehouse technology, the enhanced IntelliSight platform provides improved cross-data analytics and facilitates the rapid development of AI tools.

The BI solution’s recent Opera Cloud, Sage Intacct, and HotelKey integrations have broadened the platform's capability to process and standardise various data types from the hotel technology stack.

By accessing consistent and real-time data, hoteliers in various segments can make informed decisions to enhance profitability, said Otelier.

The commercial teams can refine segmentation strategies and monitor booking sources with greater detail.

Otelier states that finance teams benefit from insights into revenue and expenses, resulting in reduced budget discrepancies and more accurate forecasts.

Operations teams are equipped to evaluate performance metrics, labour efficiency, and cost management effectively. Meanwhile, the C-suite will have a clear, aggregated view of portfolio-wide data, correlating revenue, expenses, and outcomes.

Otelier product strategy senior director Ryan Smith said: “We’ve invested heavily in bringing together the best parts of business intelligence into one modern, unified platform.

“IntelliSight is now built for scale, speed, and innovation. We can help hoteliers marry their financial and operational data and deliver smarter analytics faster. It’s powerful, practical, and built for the way hotels operate today.”

The platform offers modular dashboards, allowing users to pay only for the data and integrations they need.

It now also supports both select-service and full-service hotel operations, enhancing portfolio scalability.

A new data health dashboard facilitates rapid identification of missing or incomplete data at the source.

Additionally, the platform now provides more detailed revenue insights and is optimised for mobile access, allowing users to view dashboards and reports on the go.

Earlier this year, Otelier also updated its TruePlan budgeting and forecasting tool, specifically tailored for the hotel industry.
