Park Hotels & Resorts has reopened the Royal Palm South Beach Miami, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, following a comprehensive renovation valued at more than $100m.

The oceanfront property is located on Collins Avenue in the centre of Miami Beach’s Art Deco District.

Royal Palm now has 404 fully refurbished guest rooms and suites, including 11 newly added rooms, spread across the East and West towers and the Lanai bungalow.

The project also delivered a new lobby and arrival experience, four new food and beverage concepts, and refreshed indoor and outdoor public areas.

The renovation also upgraded the pool, enhanced beachfront amenities, as well as modernised and expanded meeting and event facilities covering 20,000ft².

The reopening forms part of Park's investment strategy aimed at upgrading its core portfolio.

In addition to Royal Palm, the company has completed major redevelopment work at the Bonnet Creek complex in Orlando, Casa Marina and The Reach in Key West, and the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort.

Park has also upgraded guestrooms at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Hilton Waikoloa Village and Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

Park’s portfolio currently comprises 30 premium-branded hotels and resorts with more than 21,000 rooms in key city centre and resort locations.
