Amadeus and Shiji expand partnership to enhance hotel solutions 

The partnership is set to provide significant benefits for hoteliers by offering an integrated technology suite.

Travel technology company Amadeus and hospitality technology developer Shiji have announced an expansion of their partnership to deliver a more comprehensive end-to-end portfolio to the hospitality industry.

Under the agreement, the companies will integrate Shiji's suite of solutions such as Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS with various Amadeus services, including Delphi, iHotelier, HotSOS, and the Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS). 

By integrating these solutions, hotels can improve topline sales through better guest servicing and personalisation strategies. 

This integration aims to address industry challenges such as fragmentation, connectivity and personalisation. 

Shiji International chief executive officer Kevin King said: “We are excited to work with Amadeus to deliver a global solution that empowers hotels with cutting-edge technology and seamless support. This collaboration ensures that hotels have access to the most advanced tools available, all within a fully connected ecosystem.” 

A key aspect of the partnership is the new ACRS integration, which enables single-image integration at an attribute level.  

This allows ACRS to become the master record for inventory, rates, and availability for both room and non-room products, setting the foundation for more personalised guest sales and merchandising.

The collaboration is set to provide significant benefits for hoteliers by offering an integrated technology suite that covers property management, point of sale, central reservations, sales and catering, and hotel operations.

The alliance also aims to streamline vendor management for hotels by providing a single provider for all mission-critical technology needs.

This unified approach extends to first-line service and support.

Amadeus hospitality president Francisco Pérez-Lozao Rüter said: “With this alliance, we are redefining how hotels access and use technology. By bringing our products and expertise together with Shiji's and providing new single-image integrations, we are offering an unparalleled solution that addresses historical fragmentation and delivers the best in PMS, POS, CRS, sales and catering, and hotel operations technology.”

Despite the collaboration, both Amadeus and Shiji will continue operating independently, managing their services and security separately, including hosting customer data independently.

The partnership also focuses on driving efficiency and innovation by leveraging advanced solutions and technology.

Yesterday, Shiji deployed its Infrasys POS system at the Pan Pacific London hotel in the UK.
