The Fern Hotels & Resorts has opened Desert Inn Beacon Greater Rann of Kutch, further expanding its presence in Gujarat, India.

Located 67km from Bhuj Airport, the newly launched property offers 35 rooms and suites, according to a report on Economic Times Hospitality World.

The property will cater to travellers visiting the Rann of Kutch, a salt marsh in the Thar Desert.

The Fern Hotels & Resorts chairman and managing director Suhail Kannampilly was quoted by the publication as saying: “The Greater Rann of Kutch has emerged as one of India's most sought-after tourism destinations, attracting travellers from across the world with its extraordinary landscapes, vibrant culture and unique experiences.

The company opened Desert Inn Beacon Greater Rann of Kutch in partnership with Hotel Desert Inn.
