Global luxury hotel operator United Hospitality Management (UHM) has expanded its operations into India through the acquisition of boutique hospitality brand, Rosastays.

With this move, UHM gains 17 properties in key leisure destinations such as Goa, Kasauli, Nainital, Pushkar and Shimla.

UHM plans to rebrand select Rosastays properties under its umbrella between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026, as per a release posted on Zawya.

Deepika Arora will oversee the company’s operations in India, bringing more than 20 years of industry experience to her new role and will support UHM’s strategy to build its presence in South Asia. She has previously led initiatives for several international hotel brands.

UHM India managing director Deepika Arora said: “India is entering a transformative phase in travel and hospitality — one that values authenticity, design, and differentiated guest experiences.

“UHM’s entry will bring global systems, a strong owner-centric philosophy, and operational expertise that will accelerate growth for our partners. Our goal is to set new benchmarks across boutique, midscale, and luxury hospitality — with India as a key driver of that growth.”

In addition to the latest additions, UHM has a development pipeline exceeding 700 keys, including projects undertaken with IHG Hotels & Resorts under the Garner brand.

It also manages more than 30 years of luxury hospitality assets across Europe and the Middle East.

UHM collaborates with major hospitality groups, including Accor, Hyatt, IHG, Marriott, Yotel and Wyndham.

The company’s portfolio includes hotels and resorts such as Hyatt Regency Lisbon, Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort – a Vignette Collection by IHG, Sheraton Cascais Resort, The Creekside Hotel Dubai – an Accor Hotel, Wyndham Residences The Palm, and Riva Beach Club at Palm Jumeirah Dubai. It also manages holiday homes and residences across the UAE.

Beyond hotel management, UHM operates more than 60 dining venues across its global portfolio and incorporates wellness brands such as Serenity – The Art of Wellbeing, Pure by Serenity and Active by Serenity gym facilities at sites in Europe and the Middle East.

UHM Middle East, India and Southeast Asia COO Klaus Assmann said: “India is among the world’s most dynamic hospitality markets. Our expansion here is a long-term investment in a region of immense potential.”
