W Hotels is set to open its first property in Saudi Arabia this year with W Riyadh – KAFD, located in Riyadh's King Abdullah Financial District.

The hotel will offer 210 guest rooms, which include 17 suites, two penthouses, and the W Penthouse.

Six dining and social venues will operate within the property, featuring the W Lounge and additional spaces that will provide a range of food and cultural experiences throughout the day.

The property will also include leisure and wellness facilities such as a spa, a fitness centre, and an outdoor pool area.

Event facilities will encompass more than 1,000m² of adaptable space to accommodate business meetings or social functions.

The hotel will be approximately a 20-minute drive from Riyadh’s King Khaled International Airport and is set to cater to both business and leisure travellers.

W Riyadh – KAFD will form part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio in Saudi Arabia.

The opening aims to support the city’s business growth and meet demand for hospitality options in the capital’s financial district.

In May 2024, Marriott International signed the agreement to launch the W Riyadh – KAFD with Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Financial District Development & Management Company (KAFD DMC).
