US multinational hospitality chain Hyatt Hotels has opened its first Grand Hyatt hotel in the Philippines.

Named Grand Hyatt Manila, the 461-room Hyatt property in the Philippines has a height of 1,043ft and is located at the crossroads of Taguig and Bonifacio Global City districts.

Grand Hyatt Manila area vice-president and general manager Gottfried Bogensperger said: “Taguig City is known as the home of the passionate minds, and is the perfect location for the Grand Hyatt brand as it continues to flourish with business and leisure travellers in the heart of cosmopolitan Manila.

“At Grand Hyatt Manila, we’ll provide guests with a stay beyond the ordinary, a grand experience. From our gracious Filipino hospitality to mind-blowing pools, panoramic views of Manila Bay and local culinary fare – we promise our guests will be able to celebrate the iconic of Manila.”

The new hotel offers food and beverage options organised by its three major restaurants, which are slated to open this year.

The hotel provides a 24-hour fitness centre furnished with cardio and strengthening equipment, detoxifying steam baths, an elevated whirlpool with lounge beds, Illume Spa for wellness treatments, resort-like outdoor space on the sixth floor.
