Royalton Hotels & Resorts has resumed operations across its entire Jamaica portfolio, reopening five properties in Negril and Montego Bay after carrying out upgrades to rooms, shared areas and other parts of the guest offering.
The latest reopenings are Royalton Blue Waters and Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters in Montego Bay, completing the return of the company’s Jamaican resorts.

The refurbishment programme across the five properties included redesigned rooms and suites, along with digital tools and services aimed at current travel preferences.
Room technology now includes interactive televisions, resort-wide Wi-Fi that also covers beach areas, and hotel apps.
The company said a fully interactive AI concierge will be introduced in the months after reopening.
Digital changes have also been applied before arrival. Through online room selection, guests can choose a room in advance while pre-check-in is intended to reduce processing time on arrival.
In Negril, Royalton Negril includes nine restaurants, seven bars, several pools, a children’s splash park and sports and fitness facilities.
The resort also has updated accommodation, pickleball courts, recreation areas, children’s programming and entertainment, including an outdoor theatre for evening shows and live performances.
Royalton Hideaway Negril, also in Negril, is an adults-only property, with separate areas for its guests and access to the neighbouring Royalton Negril under the brand’s Book 1, Enjoy 2 concept.
That arrangement gives guests use of a combined 12 restaurants and 12 bars while the property maintains its own beach sections, oceanfront pools and swim-out suites.
Grand Lido Negril remains the third property in the destination, operating as an adults-only au naturel resort in a private beachfront location.
In Montego Bay, Royalton Blue Waters has reopened with amenities such as nine restaurants, seven bars, several pools, a kids’ club, The Royal Spa and Royalton FIT, along with water-based activities and an outdoor theatre for nightly productions.
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters is positioned as an adults-only property with 352 suites, designated adults-only spaces and a private islet offshore.
Through Royalton Hideaway’s Book 1, Enjoy 2 concept, guests can also use facilities at Royalton Blue Waters, taking the combined total to 12 restaurants and 11 bars.
The company’s next Jamaica project is Royalton CHIC Jamaica Paradise Cove, an adults-only lifestyle resort scheduled to open in mid-2027. It will be the first Royalton CHIC Resorts property in Jamaica.
