Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 18.29% share in September 2021, recording a decrease of 1.4% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 68.75% in September 2021, registering an 8.33% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 27.08% share, a decrease of 27.78% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 2.08%, registering a flat growth from August 2021.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 2.08%, down 50% over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 7.84% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s travel & tourism industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

DSV Panalpina posted 31 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 8.82% over the previous month, followed by Deutsche Lufthansa with 8 jobs and a flat growth. Deutsche Bahn with 5 IT jobs and lastminute with 2 jobs, recorded a 25% flat growth and a 33.33% decrease, respectively, while International Consolidated Airlines Group recorded a decline of 50% with 1 job postings during September 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.42%, down by 21.62% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 33.33% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.25% share, down 70% over August 2021.
