Guestara, a startup specialising in AI-driven hotel solutions, has secured $500,000 in pre-seed funding, led by travel and hospitality technology expert Sanjay Ghare.
This investment aims to advance Guestara’s development of AI tools designed to enhance hotel operations, guest satisfaction, and revenue generation on a global scale.

Founded by CEO Akshay Dekate, who has more than a decade of experience in hospitality innovation, Guestara provides a centralised AI-enabled guest management platform.
The platform automates essential hospitality functions and integrates with property management systems, offering features such as a unified inbox, contactless check-in, and smart checkout.
Dekate said: “Guestara harnesses AI to help hotels elevate that experience, boosting operational efficiency and enhancing guest loyalty. Our goal is to onboard two million rooms globally and transform the sector into a data-driven, people-focused industry.”
The platform has already attracted beta clients, including three global hotel chains, encompassing more than 2,000 rooms.
