Hyatt Hotels has unveiled plans to open a new Hyatt Centric hotel in Anjuna, Goa, in 2027, further expanding its Classics portfolio in India’s leisure market.

The hotel is currently under development and owned by Deventure Hotel and Resorts.

Hyatt India and South West Asia development vice-president Dhruva Rathore said: “The signing of this deal for Hyatt Centric Anjuna Goa marks a significant milestone in thoughtfully expanding Hyatt’s portfolio in India, particularly in a destination as dynamic as Anjuna.

“We are incredibly excited to introduce a hotel brand that truly immerses guests in the local culture, reflecting the vibrant spirit of this iconic Goan locale. The property’s strategic location positions it as a destination for both business and leisure travellers, as well as small groups seeking beach culture and nightlife.

Set to be managed by Nile Hospitality, the hotel will offer 150 keys, encompassing a mix of standard king and twin guest rooms, as well as modern suites.

The hotel will feature signature amenities, including two restaurants with seasonal outdoor dining, a deli, a bar, and flexible spaces for meetings and events.

The hospitality company has eight properties under the Hyatt Centric brand in India. 

Hyatt operates more than 1,450 hotels and all-inclusive properties across 79 countries.

Last year, the business solidified its footprint in India with the launch of a new Hyatt Centric property in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
