Hotel Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg in Denmark, a part of the Dolce by Wyndham brand, has opened its doors following a renovation project.

Established in 1969 and acquired by Comwell Hotels in 2014, this 16-storey hotel is located close to Aalborg’s city centre.

As part of the Dolce by Wyndham brand, it joins sister properties in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense, further expanding the brand’s presence in Denmark.

Comwell Hotels’ commercial director Michael Hansen said: “Aalborg is celebrated as one of the happiest cities in the world, and we can’t wait to welcome guests to our newly modernised property right in the heart of this dynamic city.

The four-star hotel offers 198 rooms, furnished with furniture and accessories from Danish brand HAY.

This Dolce by Wyndham property includes 13 conference rooms spread over four floors, with a capacity to host up to 365 guests, catering to both leisure and business travellers.

The fully customisable spaces encompass the Panorama Floor on the 15th level. Guests can also enjoy the fitness centre.

Wyndham’s Dolce brand has been broadening across Europe, with new properties in France, Italy and Spain, and more under development.
