IHG Hotels & Resorts’ boutique lifestyle brand Hotel Indigo has opened a new location in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, US.
The new 136-room property marks the brand’s 175th hotel and is owned by Viral 24.

According to a press release, Hotel Indigo Gatlinburg Downtown is stated to offer the “largest rooftop experience in the market” and is nestled within the Great Smoky Mountains.
It features four one-bedroom suites, standard rooms, and 20 premium rooms with private balconies.
Viral 24 owner Victor Patel said: “Every aspect of the hotel, from the design to the dining, invites our guests to experience the spirit of the Smokies. We’ve taken the wonderment of our surroundings and paired it with a level of service and comfort that makes every guest feel both at home and inspired, whether they are seeking adventure, relaxation, or both.”
The hotel’s Interior design, led by SK Ballard Contract Interiors, blends elements influenced by Art Deco and the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains.

Each guest room and suite at the new Hotel Indigo property is designed to offer a contemporary mountain experience, complete with tufted headboards and a lounge area in select rooms.
In-room amenities encompass a 55in TV, mini fridge, and ZENOLOGY bath products.
The property also features several dining venues, a fitness centre, a poolside area with a heated infinity-edge pool and a swim-up bar, and 9,300ft² of versatile indoor and outdoor space.
Situated near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and various Gatlinburg attractions, the hotel is 40 miles from McGhee Tyson Airport.
In April, Hotel Indigo launched a new property in Midtown Auckland, marking its debut in New Zealand.
