This launch marks the company’s expansion in the region, adding to its existing properties in Bodrum, Marbella and Barcelona.

Sunset Hospitality Group chairman and group CEO Antonio Gonzalez said: “METT Singapore marks a pivotal milestone for us. Fort Canning’s history and natural beauty and central location provide the perfect canvas for the METT spirit – a place that is warm, energetic, and soulful, where both locals and travellers can gather, celebrate, and socialise.”

The hotel occupies a heritage-listed building that has been renovated to accommodate 84 rooms and suites, ranging from 35m² to 160m², with views of either the park or the city skyline.

The design, overseen by Jeffrey Wilkes, focuses on combining historical elements with modern features.

Fort Canning Park, known for its cultural and recreational facilities, provides hotel guests with access to museums, events and outdoor spaces.

METT Singapore offers four dining and social concepts led by culinary director and F&B chef Daniele Sperindio.

Sperindio said: “Fort Canning is green, layered, and alive — a rare urban escape that fuels creativity. It’s a privilege to bring my vision to such a historic landmark and shape its culinary identity.”

The other dining venues include L’Amo Bistrò del Mare, which focuses on Italian coastal cuisine, and Canning Bar & Lounge, serving drinks and coffee.

The property will also open Art di Daniele Sperindio and HANU, a Korean grill concept, in the upcoming phases.

The hotel features amenities for events and leisure. Facilities include a ballroom with capacity for up to 800 guests, two outdoor pools, padel and pickleball courts, and a fully-equipped gym.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, METT Singapore will open Madison House, a private members’ club.

The club will introduce The Longevity Suite, offering wellness services including cryotherapy, spa and aesthetic treatments, and biohacking protocols.
