The company’s network includes 14 subsidiaries and offices worldwide, supplying over 100,000 hotels.

GCSTIMES said it introduced an industry-specific keycard that complies with ISO 14068 standards on low-carbon practices for hotels.

SGS and GCSTIMES have already made progress, with GCSTIMES implementing a closed-loop carbon management system, which covers carbon accounting, emissions reduction measures and third-party verification.

The system is designed to manage emissions across both company operations and product lifecycles and is intended as a model for broader adoption within hospitality.

Both companies plan to build on this initial milestone by deepening their collaboration.

They intend to integrate available resources and expertise to advance carbon management practices, develop environmentally responsible supply chains, seek more international certifications, and support sustainable innovation within the sector.

In a LinkedIn post, GCSTIMES said: “Together with SGS, we will continue advancing carbon management, green supply chains, international certifications and sustainable innovation.”
