La Vie Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement for Mercure Rockhampton, a property owned by Felix Capital and located in Queensland, Australia.

The hotel will remain under the Accor Mercure brand as part of the new arrangement.

The latest move follows the recent addition of Mercure Townsville to the La Vie portfolio and represents the second Accor-branded hotel managed by the group.

Mercure Rockhampton offers 74 guest rooms featuring balconies, several with views over the Fitzroy River.

Facilities at the hotel include conference areas, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a 24-hour reception and an on-site restaurant that serves local produce.

The property is situated in a central area of Rockhampton, a city known for its heritage sites and proximity to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Rockhampton attracts both domestic and international travellers due to its events calendar and leisure opportunities.

Visitors can experience cultural landmarks, historic architecture and various outdoor activities along the Fitzroy River and in nearby national parks.
