Fusion Hotel Group has signed a long-term management agreement with Real Asset Maldives to develop its first international flagship property, Fusion Resort Maldives.
Set within a 130ha lagoon, the project will be led by Fusion’s in-house creative design team, overseeing both concept design and resort development.

The master plan restricts land reclamation to 25ha to help preserve the surrounding lagoon and marine environments.
Fusion Resort Maldives is scheduled for opening in 2028 in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, southern Maldives. The location is accessible by both seaplane and domestic flights, followed by a short boat transfer.
The planned development will offer 185 luxury villas, including 80 overwater villas and 105 beach villas.
A limited number of branded residences will be introduced within the resort.

By GlobalDataAmenities at the resort include an organic farm, overwater Maia Spa, wellness centre and gym, swimming pool, and dive and marine education centre.
Additional features will include a Lifestyle Village Square with retail, art, and food and beverage pop-ups. Dining options are set to comprise a grill restaurant, an underwater restaurant, an all-day dining area, and a sunset bar.

This signing marks Fusion’s second agreement in 2026 as part of ongoing expansion. The group currently manages 23 hotels and resorts throughout Vietnam and Thailand.
