Lemon Tree Hotels has rebranded its property in Whitefield, Bengaluru, from Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels to Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, as part of its strategy to move the hotel into a higher segment of the market.

The company plans to leverage the Keys Prima positioning to pursue higher-yield business, focusing on premium corporate travellers, as well as meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) and social events.

The rebranding supports the group’s plan to advance along the value chain by adjusting the hotel’s design, public areas, service approach and food and beverage offering.

The hotel is in Whitefield, one of Bengaluru’s established IT and commercial hubs, comprising global capability centres, technology parks and multinational offices.

According to the company, ongoing infrastructure development and office space absorption in this micro-market have contributed to consistent business demand throughout the year, with an increase in leisure and long-stay bookings.

Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels offers 222 rooms and suites. The property includes banquet and meeting spaces intended to attract corporate events and MICE business.

Food and beverage outlets at the hotel include Keys Café and Unlock Bar, which aim to serve both guests staying at the hotel and visitors from the local area.

Guests have access to a fitness centre and a swimming pool.

Lemon Tree Hotels president Vishvapreet Singh Cheema said: “This upgrade, driven by significant investment in the property and extensive renovations, has revitalised the hotel and delivers a refreshed, elevated stay experience for our guests.

“It also allows us to better align with emerging guest expectations, while unlocking higher value across corporate, MICE, and social segments.”

Lemon Tree Hotels positions Keys Prima as its midscale offering with updated design and service for business and leisure travellers.

Last month, Lemon Tree Hotels agreed to develop a new resort in Lonavala, Maharashtra.
