IHG will develop InterContinental Saigon Can Gio and Crowne Plaza Saigon Can Gio, each featuring 400 rooms, and Holiday Inn Express Saigon Can Gio and Garner Hotel Saigon Can Gio, each with 130 rooms.
The opening schedule will see Holiday Inn Express and Garner debuting in Vietnam in 2028, followed by InterContinental and Crowne Plaza in 2030.
Vingroup member Vinpearl will manage collaboration efforts with IHG, working with involved parties throughout both development and operational stages.
Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio, including the four IHG properties, will contribute to a 7,000-room ecosystem, supporting sustained visitor demand.
Large-scale leisure developments will further enhance the hospitality offering.
These include a 122ha VinWonders theme park, the 5,000-seat Song Xanh Theater, an 800ha Paradise Lagoon, a five-star international cruise port, and two 18-hole international-standard golf courses.
IHG East Asia and Pacific senior vice president and managing director Rajit Sukumaran said: “This agreement marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between IHG and Vingroup, one of Vietnam’s leading private conglomerates.
“Bringing four of IHG’s renowned brands to Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio reflects the breadth of our portfolio and underscores our strong commitment to supporting Vietnam’s ambition to become a leading global tourism destination.”
Vietnam remains a growth market for IHG, which operates 23 hotels with another 20 in the pipeline nationwide.
Earlier this month, IHG entered a management agreement with NCPL to develop Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba, a 100-room property scheduled to open in early 2030.
