Richmond Airport Enterprises will convert the Travelodge Hotel by Wyndham Vancouver Airport to the new property.
The hotel comprises 160 rooms and is situated near Vancouver International Airport, the River Rock Casino Resort, and Richmond Hospital.
Renovations are underway, supported by significant capital investment.
On-site amenities at the Red Roof PLUS+ Vancouver Airport will include a 24-hour business centre offering computer, printing, and copying services; an upgraded fitness facility; an indoor pool; and parking for various vehicle types.
Red Roof PLUS+ is part of Red Roof’s Upscale Economy brand range.
As Red Roof expands into Canada, the company has stated its intention to develop additional converted properties in the country in the coming years.
Red Roof president Zack Gharib said: “Canadians are already well acquainted with, and trust, the Red Roof brand through frequent travel to the US.
“Our brand focuses on delivering smart amenities, modern design and reliable service at a competitive price point — making us an ideal choice for both leisure and business travellers.”
The Red Roof PLUS+ Vancouver Airport is now accepting reservations through the company’s website, mobile app, or by phone, with RediRewards members eligible to earn points during their stays.
