Hotel technology provider Zucchetti and SiteMinder have strengthened their collaboration to increase interoperability between their hospitality technology systems.
The updated agreement enables enhanced integration between SiteMinder’s hotel commerce platform and Zucchetti’s central reservation system (CRS), Vertical Booking, to generate new revenue streams for hotels in Italy and international markets.

This move builds on an existing connection between SiteMinder and Zucchetti’s Simple Booking engine, which has been in operation since 2016 and currently supports numerous shared clients.
In addition to Vertical Booking, Zucchetti’s range of hospitality solutions includes property management and revenue management systems, and currently serves around 48,500 customers worldwide.
Offering distribution, analytics and revenue management capabilities, SiteMinder’s platform is used by over 53,000 hotels worldwide and backed by a network of more than 2,350 partners.
The expanded partnership will see new integrations introduced in key markets, including Italy, Spain, the Asia Pacific region and the Americas.
A recent survey conducted among 700 hoteliers from primary destination markets revealed that nearly 40% cited technology fragmentation and complexity in adding new distribution channels as barriers to capturing traveller demand.
The findings also emphasised the role of rapid implementation in generating additional revenue, with 58% of respondents considering the ability to go to market quickly, which is supported by seamless connectivity between hotel systems, as vital.
Zucchetti Hospitality CEO Angelo Guaragni said: “Together, Zucchetti and SiteMinder bring complementary strengths to a shared customer base in key tourism and hospitality markets around the world.
“Deepening our collaboration means giving our joint customers not only the flexibility to build the tech stack best suited to their needs, but access to the revenue opportunities they deserve.”
Last month, SiteMinder expanded its hotel commerce platform to include AI-driven features designed to support both direct bookings and reservations through online travel agencies.
