Their rebranding and integration into the Gravity Haus network will expand the company’s presence into the Pacific Northwest and add another Montana location.

They will be rebranded as Gravity Haus Westport, Gravity Haus Missoula and Gravity Haus Alta Crystal.

These properties will begin operating under the Gravity Haus brand and management from mid-2026, with further programming and membership integration expected throughout the year.

Gravity Haus was selected as the management partner by lender The Academy Fund following the closure of several Loge Holdings properties in early 2026.

These closures impacted several adventure-focused hospitality destinations in the Mountain West and Pacific Coast, leaving local staff and communities with uncertainty.

Gravity Haus president and board member and former Kimpton CEO Mike Defrino said: “The franchise model paired with a commoditised management company was supposed to de-risk ownership and drive real estate returns. The traditional model for many owners has proven to be far more challenging.”

The Academy Fund CEO Bill Militello said: “The Gravity Haus management team and entire organisation are optimised to deliver NOI [net operating income] for owners. This is a refreshing perspective in an industry that historically hasn’t aligned win-win-win dynamics for the owner, the brand, and the consumer.”

Gravity Haus now operates 13 properties across various regions, including Colorado, Montana and Washington, US; as well as British Columbia, Canada. The company targets owners and partners looking for alternatives to traditional franchise or third-party management setups.
