The collaboration is designed to facilitate group bookings, online reservations for individual travellers, and AI-driven direct-to-consumer booking processes.

Trinity Investments managing partner, president and CEO Sean Hehir said: “At a time when technology is reshaping every aspect of hotel operations, we are excited to partner with HotelPlanner to advance innovation in distribution, group sales, and the guest experience across our portfolio.

“HotelPlanner’s AI-driven platform and global reservations network complement our strategic operations team’s focus on operational excellence at the asset level.”

HotelPlanner co-founder and co-CEO Tim Hentschel said: “We are proud to deepen our relationship with one of the most respected institutional owners of hotels and resorts in the world.

“Trinity’s commitment to operational excellence and long-term value creation aligns with HotelPlanner’s mission to deliver superior distribution outcomes for our hotel partners and their guests.”

HotelPlanner’s technology processes individual and group sales as well as direct-to-consumer bookings through a call centre network with 7,000 agents and AI-powered reservation services.

In the previous year, the company’s system handled hotel room distributions valued at more than $2bn.
